O R D E R

(Per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) This contempt case was instituted alleging willful disobedience to the order dated 31.12.2014 passed by a Division Bench of this Court in W.P.M.P.No.50561 of 2014 in W.P.No.40310 of 2014. By the said order, the Division Bench observed that the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation, Hyderabad, should invite one of the representatives on behalf of the petitioner society before taking a decision adhering to the element of reasonableness and fairness and in so far as quantification of property tax of each and every individual is concerned, the owner of the unit concerned should be heard. Alleging that demand notices were issued without affording any opportunity of hearing prior to the quantification of property tax in January, February and March, 2018, this contempt case was instituted.

While so, Sri L.Prabhakar Reddy, learned counsel for the respondent herein, would inform this Court that by letter dated 29.06.2018 addressed to the first petitioner society and the second petitioner, the demand notice issued on 07.01.2018 to all the members of the first petitioner society stood withdrawn. In the light of this later development, this contempt case does not survive for consideration on merits and is accordingly closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
