This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondent Nos.1 and 2 in considering the representation of the petitioner, as illegal and arbitrary. 2.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue representing respondent Nos.1 and 2.

It is the case of the petitioner that he was removed as Executive Member as per the resolution dated 25.8.2015 passed by the third respondent-Society as if he submitted his resignation. It is the further case of the petitioner that he never submitted resignation to the Society. The contention of the petitioner is that somebody forged his signature and submitted the alleged resignation. The petitioner has submitted a representation to the third respondent-Registrar of Societies on 07.12.2015, to investigate into the fake documents and take necessary action. For one reason or the other, the representation of the petitioner is pending with the second respondent.

The only relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner is to direct the second respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 07.12.2015. In view of the said submission, this Court is not inclined to express any opinion touching the merits of the main case.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is hereby directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 07.12.2015 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
