THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.31186 OF 2017 O R D E R:

This Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of the 3rd respondent in not conducting and completing the investigation in Crime No.18 of 2017 dated 15.2.2017 on the file of the Pothkapally Police Station, Peddapally District.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader for Home (T.S), submitted the written instructions received from the Station House Officer, Pothkapally Police Station, Ramagundem District stating that the subject matter of investigation in Crime No.18 of 2017 for which a detailed investigation is under progress. Prima facie case is yet to be made out against the accused in the alleged crime. The reply from the Revenue Divisional Officer, Peddapalli is awaited. As soon as the reply is received from the R.D.O, Peddpalli, further course of action will be taken and finalise the case basing on the merits. Recording the written instructions submitted by the learned Government Pleader, the writ petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation within the time undertaken by the respondent police before this Court. No order as to costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
