HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 33027 of 2017 ORDER:

The inaction of respondent No.1 (Station House Officer, Kanigiri, Prakasam District), in taking action on the petitioner's complaints dated 16.09.2017 and 18.09.2017, is questioned in this writ petition as being illegal and arbitrary.

Learned Government Pleader for Home would place before this Court a copy of the First Information Report from which it is clear that FIR No.176 of 2017 was registered on 04.10.2017 on the file of Kanigiri Police Station, Prakasam District for offences under Sections 120B and 153a read with 34 IPC.

Since the complaint has now been registered, respondent No.1 shall cause investigation forthwith, and file a report under Section 173(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code at the earliest.
