THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE No.2214 of 2016

O R D E R

This contempt case was instituted alleging wilful disobedience to the order dated 22.04.2016 passed by this Court in W.P.No.13616 of 2016. By the said order, this Court directed the police authorities to take suitable action in terms of the decision rendered by the Supreme Court in LALITA KUMARI V/s. GOVERNMENT OF UTTAR PRADESH1.

It is now represented by the learned Government Pleader for Home that FIR No.36 of 2017 was registered on the file of the Narsaraopet I Town Police Station on 13.04.2017, while FIR No.47 of 2017 was registered on the file of the Narsaraopet II Town Police Station on 13.04.2017.

In that view of the matter, the order passed by this Court stands duly complied with.

The contempt case is accordingly closed. No order as to costs.
