HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.1972 OF 2015 O R D E R:

The grievance of the petitioners is that the respondents are proceeding to appoint Mee-Seva Agents without following the procedure as notified under G.O.Ms.No.10, dated 18.10.2011 read with G.O.Ms.No.45, dated 09.10.2012 and Memo No. 13/PD E.Gov/2013, dated 01.01.2014.

Petitioners themselves claimed as on today they are only aspirants and they also hope to be appointed as agents. There is no specific incidents of the respondents not following the methodology prescribed under G.O.Ms.No.10, dated 18.10.2011 read with G.O.Ms.No.45, dated 09.10.2012 and Memo No. 13/PD E.Gov/2013, dated 01.01.2014, otherwise it is only apprehension on the part of the petitioners that the respondents would not be following the procedure, which has been notified in the above said G.Os.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue (AP) submits that the Writ Petition cannot be based on the apprehensions and there is no material to support the contention of the petitioners that the respondent officials would not be following the procedure prescribed.

Considering the apprehension of the petitioners and after considering the submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue (AP), interest of justice would be served by giving a direction to the respondents to strictly adhere to the procedure notified vide G.O.Ms.No.10, dated 18.10.2011 read

with G.O.Ms.No.45, dated 09.10.2012 and Memo No. 13/PD E.Gov/2013, dated 01.01.2014 for appointing the agents for MeeSeva Agency centers. With the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
