P.Gangadhar Reddy And ANR v. The Md.,Apsrtc.,Msrd.,Hyd And 2 ORS
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 16717 of 2002 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not regularizing the services of the petitioners after completion of continuous service for a period of 240 days and also the action of the 3rd respondent in issuing proceedings dated 24.06.2002 terminating the services of the petitioners with effect from 25.06.2002, as illegal and arbitrary. While admitting the writ petition, this Court directed the 3rd respondent to continue the petitioner in service subject to availability of workload vide orders dated 05.09.2002 in WPMP No.20955 of 2002.
When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is submitted by the learned standing counsel for APSRTC appearing on behalf of the respondents that in pursuance of the interim orders granted by this Court on 05.09.2002, the petitioners were re-engaged and, hence, the cause in the writ petition does not survive.
In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs. ______________________________ ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J 1st October, 2018 cbs
