This Writ Petition is filed declaring the action of respondent No.4 in not registering F.I.R. in pursuance of the petitioner's complaint, dated 22.04.2015, as illegal and arbitrary. 3.

Admittedly, there appears to be a civil dispute between the petitioner and his vendors and converting the said dispute into criminal in nature, he filed a complaint dated 22.04.2015. However, the grievance of the petitioner is that respondent No.4 is not taking steps on the complaint filed by him. 4.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions of the Sub-Inspector of Police, Vanasthalipuram Police Station, dated 14.05.2018, submits that in pursuance of the complaint dated 22.04.2015 filed by the petitioner, crime was registered and investigation is in progress and respondent authorities will take appropriate steps as expeditiously as possible, if not already taken.

Since crime is registered on the complaint dated 22.04.2015 filed by the petitioner, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication and the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
