THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.23640 OF 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- "to issue a Writ order or direction or more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the inaction of the respondents No.2 in not taking steps to demolish the temporary sheds made by unofficial respondents in pursuant to the representation dated 24.05.2017 and 11.07.2017 given by the petitioner herein as illegal, arbitrary and against settled principles of law and consequently direct the official respondents to remove and demolish the illegal structures raised by the unofficial respondents."

After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner requested the Court to direct the official respondents to consider the representations, dated 24.05.2017 and 11.07.2017, of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. 3.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the official respondents are hereby directed to consider the representations, dated 24.05.2017 and 11.07.2017, of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
