The complaint of the petitioners in the present Writ Petition is that the respondent authorities are proceeding with the land acquisition proceedings without considering their objections, dated 13.02.2017 and 14.02.2017.

The District Collector, Srikakulam, vide proceedings No.2260/2016/G3, dated 26.12.2016, issued a Notification under Section 11 (1) of Act 30 of 2013, proposing to acquire the lands of the petitioners herein. In response to the said notification, the petitioners herein submitted objections on 13.02.2017 and 14.02.2017. Admittedly, the said objections are pending consideration before the respondent authorities. 3.

According to the provisions of Act 30 of 2013, when the land owners submitted their objections, it is the duty of the authorities to consider the same and take appropriate action. Therefore, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents herein to consider the objections, dated 13.02.2017 and 14.02.2017, said to have been submitted by the petitioners in respect of the subject lands, and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law. 4.

With the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in these writ petitions shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. __________________ A.V.SESHA SAI, J APRIL 24, 2017 Note:
