HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.4733 of 2017 O R D E R:

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the 3rd respondent in giving threatening calls to the petitioners and calling to police station and making to sit for hours without any crime being registered against the petitioners.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners fairly submits that the petitioners were shown as accused in Cr.No.47 of 2017, but he states that the police are harassing the petitioners. It is needless to observe that the police are empowered to conduct investigation but should follow due process of law while investigating the crime.

3. With the above observation, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence.
