THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.SHANKAR NARAYANA CRIMINAL PETITION No.501 of 2017 ORDER:

The present petition, under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973, is filed by the defacto complainant in C.C.No.259 of 2013 on the file of the III Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijayawada, Krishna District, seeking a direction for expeditious disposal of the said Calender Case.

Sri R.K.Suri, learned counsel for the petitioner, would submit that though the aforesaid Calender Case was registered in the year 2013, the same is not being taken up for trial and, therefore, he would seek a direction to the learned III Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijayawada, to dispose of the said Calender Case expeditiously. Of course, no details as to the volume of cases pending on the file of III Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijayawada, have been furnished. Be that as it may, keeping in view that the Calender Case relates to the year 2013, the learned III Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijayawada, Krishna District, would dispose of C.C.No.259 of 2013 as expeditiously as possible.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

Miscellaneous applications, if any pending in the present petition, stand closed.
