Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the writ petition is filed for several prayers, the same can be disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner for relaxation of the condition of minimum service for the purpose of promotion to the post of Deputy Director, Town and Country Planning.

Heard learned Assistant Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development. In view of the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the competent authority is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner for relaxation of the condition of minimum service for promotion to the post of Deputy Director, Town and Country Planning, in accordance with the Rules, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
