When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the issue raised in this writ petition is squarely covered by the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.14630 of 2019, dated 17.07.2019, and contended that the present writ petition be disposed of in terms of the said order. Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents does not dispute the aforesaid submissions.
In view of the above submissions and for the reasons alike in the order dated 17.07.2019 in W.P.No.14630 of 2019, this writ petition is also disposed of directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Office Superintendent in terms of G.O.Ms.No.42 dated 19.10.2011 and pass appropriate orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner on 30.08.2019 in accordance with Rules, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No order as to costs.
