HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V. BHATT WRIT APPEAL Nos. 617, 642, 678, 676, 630, 595, 663, 682, 598, 685, 670, 604, 611, 640, 596,743, 744 and 745 of 2015 PC: (per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) Heard learned counsel for the parties.
On last occasion (15.07.2015), this Court had issued certain directions including to carry out fresh inspections by different Teams consisting of two Members of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and one Member of the University.
We are informed that the process of inspection is complete and two sets of inspection reports are prepared, one is with the University and the other is tendered in the Court by learned Advocate General appearing for the University as Court's copy. The Court Officer is directed to handover the Court copies of all the reports to learned counsel for the AICTE today itself. We are also informed that out of 123 colleges, 18 colleges opted out of inspection process. In other words, their names were deleted from the list of the colleges, since they are not interested in getting either approval by the AICTE or affiliation of the University for the year 2015-2016. In view thereof, the writ appeals have rendered infructuous.
Writ appeals are disposed of as infructuous. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending therein also stand disposed of. _________________________ DILIP B. BHOSALE, ACJ ________________________ S.V. BHATT, J Dt:28.07.2015 kdl
