HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.22410 OF 2016 ORDER:

The case of the petitioners is that they are freedom fighters and they made an application for grant of freedom fighters pension under the scheme known as Swathantra Sainik Samman Pension. As the respondents failed to implement the same, the petitioners filed W.P.No.24416 of 2010. Thereafter their cases were considered and the State Government called for the reports from the concerned RDO through the 2nd respondent. After receipt of the reports from the RDO, the 2nd respondent recommended their cases vide letter No.C6/4592/2010 dated 31.03.2011 to the respondent No.1. As no action has been taken, the present writ petition is filed.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

In view of the above facts and circumstances, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the case of the petitioners in terms of the recommendations made by the 2nd respondent in accordance with law, within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and take action accordingly. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
