THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 25136 OF 2007 O R D E R :

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a mandamus to declare the proceedings dated 12.11.2007 of the 2nd respondent Registrar of Mutually Aided Cooperative Societies, as void, illegal and arbitrary. Learned Senior Counsel Sri B.V. Subbaiah appearing for the petitioners, after arguing the matter for a considerable length of time, submits that on re-examination of the issue, he is of the opinion that the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive, in view of the subsequent developments, particularly conversion of the Society into a Milk Producers Company under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1956 and hence, seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, since the learned counsel for the petitioners does not wish to press the Writ Petition, the same is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall also stand closed.
