O R D E R

The prayer of the petitioners in this case is as under: 'To issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ or order or direction declaring the action of the respondents in the proposed action of demolish the shops bearing Door Nos.8-3382/1, 8-3-381, 8-3-380, 8-3-381/1, 8-3-379 and 8-3-382 situated on Main Road, Rayadurgam, Anantapuram as arbitrary, illegal and unconstitutional and pass such further or other orders as this Hon'ble court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.'

Sri Md. Saleem, learned standing counsel for the Rayadurgam Municipality, fairly stated that any action taken by the municipal authorities would be only in accordance with the due procedure. In the light of the aforestated statement, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent authorities not to resort to demolition of the subject shops, except in accordance with the due procedure laid down by law.
