THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT CONTEMPT CASE NO.963 OF 2016 ORDER: {Per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan} The order, violation of which is alleged in this Contempt Case, is the order passed in PIL No.286 of 2015 dated 18.01.2016. While dismissing the PIL for non-prosecution, this Court expressed its hope and trust that the respondents would take all necessary steps to recover seigniorage fee, if any, from respondent Nos.12 and 13 within ten weeks from the date of receipt of the order. Sri P.Nagendra Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, would submit that the order, dismissing the PIL for non-prosecution, has been subsequently set aside; and the PIL has been restored to file. If that be so the order, violation of which is alleged in this Contempt Case, no longer survives. We see no reason, therefore, to proceed against the respondents under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.
