This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 483(1)(b) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, by the petitioner/Accused No.1 seeking modification of Condition No. (ii) imposed by the order dated 10.02.2026 passed in Crl.M.P.No.48 of 2026 arising out of Crime No.506 of 2025 by the learned X Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy District, at Rajendranagar.

Heard Sri Mahesh Muddala, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri D. Arun Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the Respondent - State. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is native of Kerala State and every week he has been travelling from Thiruvananthapuram to Hyderabad to appear before SHO and it is very difficult to the petitioner to travel very long distance. He further submitted that the investigation has already been completed, but no charge sheet has been filed even after the lapse of 120 days. Therefore, he prayed this Court to modify condition No.(ii) imposed in the order dated 10.02.2026 passed in Crl.M.P.No.48 of 2026 by dispensing with the condition requiring the petitioner to appear before the concerned Police Station on every Sunday.

Having considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and having regard to the fact that the investigation has already been completed and no charge sheet has been filed even after completion of 120 days, this Court is inclined to modify Condition No.(ii) imposed in the order dated 10.02.2026 passed in Crl.M.P.No.48 of 2026, arising out of
Crime No.506 of 2025, by the learned X Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy District, at Rajendranagar. 5.
Accordingly, Condition No.(ii) imposed in the order dated 10.02.2026 passed in Crl.M.P. No.48 of 2026, arising out of Crime No.506 of 2025, by the learned X Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy District, at Rajendranagar, is modified, and the petitioner is directed to appear before the concerned Station House Officer as and when required. The other conditions imposed in the aforesaid order shall remain unaltered.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
