ORDER

In spite of the matter being listed under the caption "for dismissal", none appears and no representation is made on behalf of the petitioner.

The grievance of the petitioner is that though he is senior to respondents 3 to 7, without following the procedure, respondents 1 and 2 have promoted respondents 3 to 7 as Assistant Linemen on 14.3.2000, and promoted him on 27.11.2001 and placed respondents 3 to 7 over and above him in the seniority list. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to submit a representation to respondents 1 and 2 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such representation, respondents 1 and 2 shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks thereafter, in accordance with rules. No costs.
