THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE T.VINOD KUMAR W.P.No.21044 of 2019 ORDER:

This writ petition has been filed questioning inaction on the part of the respondents in considering the representation dated 17.08.2019 of the petitioner wherein he requested to pay the arrears of rent due to him. Learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare appearing for the respondents would submit that the Hostel Welfare Officer, Government Scheduled Caste College (Boys) Hostel, Saroornagar 2 R.R. District, addressed a letter to the 3rd respondent, Deputy Director, Schedule Caste Development Department, to pay the arrears of rent to the owners of the building, at the earliest.

In view of the said submission of the learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare, it is directed to the respondents concerned to consider the representation dated 17.08.2019 of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law and pay the arrears of rents to the land owner at the earliest, preferably within a period of ten weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
