HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.39944 OF 2016 ORDER:

This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioner seeking the following relief: " ... to issue a Writ, order or direction, more particularly a Writ in the nature of MANDAMUS declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in not considering and not passing orders on the Application from MEE SEVA No.MU 021600852461 dated 24-06-2016 in FORM VI (A) under section 4(1) of A.P. Rights in Land and Pattedar Pass Books Act 1971 and Rule 18 of Rules 1989 in respect of agricultural lands in Sy.No.175 area 9 acres 36 gts. Sy.No.174 area 2 acres 32 gts. Sy.No.176 area 5 acres 30 gts., and Sy.No.179 area 3 acres 05 gts. of Konapur village, M.R.Kodimyal, Karimnagar District, as illegal, arbitrary, colourable exercise of power and pass such other order or orders as the Honourable Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice."

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents. With their consent, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

The limited grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that though he made an application on 24.06.2016 through Mee-Seva in Form-VI(A) seeking mutation of his name in pattadar passbooks and title deeds in respect of subject lands, till date no orders are passed thereon.

Learned AGP would submit that the 2nd respondent may be directed to dispose of the application made by the petitioner, in accordance with law.

Having considered the rival submissions made, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent-Tahasildar to dispose of the Form-VI(A) application filed by the petitioner on 24.06.2016, in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner and other aggrieved persons, if any, as early as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Miscellaneous petitions pending in this writ petition, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
