THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.2228 OF 2016 ORDER:

This petition is filed by the petitioner-accused under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings against him in Crime No.10 of 2016 on the file of Vanasthalipuram Police Station, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 324, 448 and 506 r/w 34 IPC.

Heard and perused the material available on record. It is alleged that the petitioner, who is residing opposite to the house of the 2nd respondent-de facto complainant, along with the other accused criminally trespassed into her house and beat her sister, brother-in-law and son with sticks due to previous enmity and threatened them with dire consequences.

In the complaint, serious allegations were made against the petitioner. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the proceedings in the above crime.
