Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondent.
The present Writ Petition came to be filed seeking to declare clause 11(a) of the conditions of Ashadeep Policy II as illegal and arbitrary. At the time when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the LIC agreed to pay the amount due and accordingly issued a letter dated 27.10.2015. It is also brought to the notice of this Court that the claimant/petitioner agreed to receive the said amount. But so far the amount is not paid.
Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondent and also taking into consideration the letter dated 27.10.2015, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
Consequently, the Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall also stand closed.
