THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE T.VINOD KUMAR W.P. No.21028 of 2019 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed questioning the action of the respondents, particularly the 5th respondent, Station House Officer, in calling and harassing the petitioners along with their family members without any material against them.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions of the Sub-Inspector of Police, Aswaraopet Police Station, dated 26.09.2019, submitted that the petitioners made a representation dated 09.08.2019 to the District Collector, Bhadradri Kothagudem District, inter alia, stating that the respondents 8 and 9 abused them in filthy language with their caste name and threatened to vacate the lands in question and falsely implicated their son in criminal cases.

The 7th respondent, Tahsildar, Aswaraopet Mandal, vide Rc.No.B/366/2019 dated 10.06.2019 requested the 5th respondent to provide protection to the petitioners, upon which the 5th respondent made GD entry and requested the 7th respondent to furnish the particulars of the lands in question for the purpose of enquiry and the report is awaited. After finalizing the

enquiry, necessary action will be taken against the respondents 8 and 9. He specifically denied the material averments of the writ petition and submitted that as per the Station records, as of now, no criminal cases are registered against the petitioners and after receiving the report from the 7th respondent, Tahsildar, the 5th respondent will finalize the enquiry on the petitioners' representation and will take necessary action as per law. In view of the above all and recording the submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 5th respondent not to interfere with the liberty and life of the petitioners except in accordance with law. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
