Respondents The Court made the following:

THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.18278 OF 2018 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Education appearing for the respondents. 2.

According to petitioner, he retired from service as Lecturer in Printing Technology on 31.12.2014. The Government passed orders in G.O.Ms.Nos.91 and 92, dated 23.05.2017 and 25.05.2017 respectively, ordering payment of P.R.C. arrears to the employees, who retire from service for the period from 02.06.2014 to 28.02.2015 in 18 equal monthly installments. He claims that these arrears are not paid to him. He apprehends that the arrears are not paid for want of service register. He therefore made representation dated 21.02.2018 to the Commissioner of Technical Education, Government of Telangana, Nampally, Hyderabad. However, so far there is no progress in settlement of the amounts due, compelling the petitioner to institute this Writ Petition. 3.

Since the petitioner has already submitted representation on 21.02.2018 and so far no decision is made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Commissioner of Technical Education, Government of Telangana, Nampally, Hyderabad, to examine the claim of the petitioner as reflected in his representation dated 21.02.2018 and take suitable decision as warranted in law. If what is alleged by the petitioner in the representation, that is, missing of service register is true, steps should be taken in this regard and the grievance of the petitioner be redressed. A decision to this effect shall be taken

and communicated to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
