This contempt case is filed complaining about non-compliance of the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.13279 of 2003, dated 31.10.2013. 2.

Heard Sri N.S. Pattabhi Rama Rao, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Sri N. Vasudeva Reddy, learned Counsel for the respondent. 3.

It has been submitted by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that against the award passed by the Labour Court in I.D.No.58 of 2000, dated 31.1.2003, the respondent-Corporation filed the above Writ petition No.13279 of 2003 and the said writ petition was dismissed on 31.10.2013 confirming the award of the Labour Court, and that this contempt case is filed complaining that backwages were not paid by the respondent in compliance with the orders passed by this Court in the above writ petition. 4.

The present contempt case cannot be maintained. If the writ petition is dismissed confirming the award passed by the Labour Court, it is open to the petitioner to move appropriate execution petition before the Labour Court seeking execution of the award.

Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate Labour Court for implementation of the award. No costs.
