This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioners seeking a Writ of Mandamus to declare clause 6 (c) of G.O.Ms.No.1535, Revenue (Endts.II) Department, dated 20.12.2008, issued by the 1st respondent as illegal, void and arbitrary; and, a consequential direction was sought to set aside the said clause in the said G.O.

At the hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for the 3rd respondent - temple, on instructions, would submit that the respondents have taken a decision not to take any action pursuant to G.O.Ms.No.1535, dated 20.12.2008, and that in that view of the matter, no further orders need be passed in this writ petition.

Recording the said submission of the learned Standing Counsel for the 3rd respondent - temple, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
