The present Writ Petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondent in not considering the petitioner's case for the post of Post Graduate Teacher (non language) in Chemistry, English, Physics and Chemistry for Model Schools in Zone-V, IV and VI, as illegal and arbitrary.

The respondents issued notification on 06.02.2012 for recruitment of Principals, Post Graduate and Trained Graduate Teachers in Model Schools of the State of Andhra Pradesh. Pursuant to the said notification, the petitioners applied for the posts of Post Graduate Teacher (Non Language) in Chemistry of Zone-V, PGT English, Physics and Chemistry of Zone-IV, VI and V. It is stated that petitioner Nos.1, 2 and 4 belongs to BC-B category and petitioner No.3 belongs to OC category and all are said to be qualified for the post applied by them. It is stated that pursuant to the notification, hall tickets were issued and written examination was held on 11.05.2012. Thereafter the merit list was prepared wherein the names of the petitioners were not found, inspite of obtaining qualifying marks. Hence, the present writ petition. 4.

It is to be noted that notification was issued when States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States were combined. On 14.06.2013, this Court directed the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners, if they come within the zone of consideration and if their names are in waiting list and then to pass appropriate orders.

Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that no orders are required to be passed at this length of time, due to change in circumstances.

Recording the same and in view of the interim order passed by this Court, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition and hence the writ petition is closed. No costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
