The petitioner, Kunchaparthi Satya Rajesh, while working as Computer Lecturer in Government S.R.R. and C.V.R. College, Vijayawada, moved the anticipatory bail stating that there is apprehension that he will be implicated in a non-bailable offence by Machavaram-VII Town Police Station, Vijayawada at the instance of Mr.M. Subramanyam, reporter of Maha News Channel.

2. It is the submission of the learned Public Prosecutor that as per the information received from the Police there is no any written report nor there is any G.D. entry to say that there is any accusation much-less apprehension from any accusation, which are the pre-requisites to consider the application for anticipatory bail even of no crime registered, under section 438 Cr.P.C.

3. Having regard to the above and by recording the same, this Criminal Petition is disposed of. Needless to say any such crime registered and punishable upto seven years, police strictly follow section 41-A of Cr.P.C., and the guidelines of the Apex Court in ARNESH KUMAR V/s. STATE OF BIHAR 1.
