ORDER:

The petitioner is an Association consists of about 143 members. The members of the petitioner-Association submit that they are all eligible to be considered for grant of houses under various schemes announced by the Government. In spite of the fact that on an earlier occasion they were already short listed for consideration of grant of houses, nothing has been done so far. Hence they filed the present writ petition.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue (Telangana) for respondents. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a direction be issued to the respondents to consider the application submitted by the members of the petitionerAssociation and to pass necessary orders. Considering the short relief sought in the writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the application of the members of the petitioner-Association subject to their eligibility and entitlement, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. No costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. _____________________ CHALLA KODANDA RAM, J.
