HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.21135 OF 2009 ORDER:

This petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in seeking to conduct election to the office of Chairman of Zilla Parishad of Karimnagar District pursuant to the notification issued by the 3rd respondent dated 22.09.2009, without following the procedure contemplated under Rule 28(2) of Conduct of Election of Members (Co-opted) and President/Vice President of the Mandal, Parishand and Member (Co-opted) Etc., of Z.P. and without serving notices to us giving three clear days notice in advance of the said schedule date as illegal and arbitrary. This Court on 30.09.2005 granted interim order stating that any election of the Chairperson of Zilla Parishad of Karimnagar District is subject to the result of the writ petition.

Now the term of the elected body expired in the year 2011. In view of the same, nothing survives in the writ petition for adjudication.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
