When the matter was listed on 05.01.2016, none appeared for the petitioner. Hence the matter was directed to be listed today under the caption 'for dismissal'. Even to day also, though the matter is listed under the caption 'for dismissal', none appeared for the petitioner nor any representation is made on its behalf. In the circumstances, this Court has no alternative except to dismiss the Writ Petition for non prosecution. The Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration if any in the Writ Petition shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
