VRS, J & NBY, J W.P.No.18330 of 2018 HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE V. RAMASUBRAMANIAN AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE N. BALAYOGI Writ Petition No.18330 of 2018 ORDER: (V. Ramasubramanian, J) Aggrieved by the refusal of the respondents to return the original certificates to enable him to join a better course in All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi, the petitioner came up with the above writ petition.

2. Finding that the petitioner had satisfied the condition for relieving him, we passed an interim order on 05-06-2018. It reads as follows:

"After joining MS (General Surgery) in the 3rd respondent-college, the petitioner has been allotted a seat in the same course in All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi. In such cases, the only condition imposed by the University is the payment of an amount of Rs.3,00,000/-, apart from such candidates being debarred from participating in counseling for the next three years. The petitioner has already paid Rs.3,00,000/- and having got admission in All India Medical Sciences, we do not think that he will appear for counseling for any other course in the 2nd respondent University.

Therefore, there will be an interim direction to the 2nd and 3rd respondents to return the original certificates to the petitioner immediately to enable him to join in All India Medical Sciences, Delhi."

3. Today, Mr. V.V. Anil Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that pursuant to the interim order, the respondents have returned the original certificates. Therefore, nothing survives in the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No costs.

VRS, J & NBY, J W.P.No.18330 of 2018 As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
