THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.21309 OF 2007 ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed seeking the following relief: "to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in not waiving the maktha paid by the petitioner in advance to the tune of Rs.33,575/- (Rupees thirty three thousand five hundred and seventy five only) on 26.07.2006 for the year 2006 in spite of G.O.Rt.No.2711, dt.22.12.2006, is highly illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 21 of the Constitution of India."

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent-temple submits that subsequent to filing of the Writ Petition, the petitioner paid the amounts due to the temple and further the petitioner is not cultivating the land of the temple.

In view of the specific assertion of the learned Standing Counsel, no further relief can be granted in the writ petition. 4.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
