THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.3591 OF 2004 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not permitting the petitioner to attend for interview for the posts of part-time Sweeper along with the candidates sponsored by the Employment Exchange, as illegal, arbitrary, discriminatory and violative of Articles 14 and 16 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for interview and appointment to the post of part-time Sweeper, scheduled to be held on 27.02.2004 or any other subsequent date.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the purpose of filing the writ petition has become infructuous. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
