Heard learned counsel appearing for petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Assignment. 2.

The petitioner in this writ petition complains against the respondents herein and pray for Mandamus declaring Memo No.31617/Regn.II/A1/2012-4, dated 31.08.2015 and the action of respondents in not considering the application of petitioner for renewal of licence to practice as Notary as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional.

Learned counsel rely upon common order dated 02.12.2016 in W.P.No.9655 of 2016 and batch, wherein my learned brother Justice C.Praveen Kumar has considered the purport of Memo and the action of the respondents in not considering the application filed for renewal and allowed the writ petitions. 4.

Learned Government Pleader does not dispute the circumstances in the case on hand and submits that the principle laid down by this Court does not apply to the present case. 5.

I have perused the order and I am satisfied the instant writ petition can be allowed by following the order of this Court in W.P.No.9655 of 2016 and batch dated 02.12.2016. 6.

The writ petition is accordingly allowed in terms of W.P.No.9655 of 2016 and batch dated 02.12.2016. There shall be no order as to costs.

- 3 - Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
