THE HON' BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM CRIMINAL REVISION CASE No.1280 of 2005 ORDER:

The petitioner challenges the order dated 02.06.2005 passed by the Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge for trial of Jubilee Hills Car Bomb Blast Case-cum-Additional Family Court, Hyderabad, in M.C.No.248 of 2004. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

M.C.No.248 of 2004 was filed under Section 125 of Cr.P.C., seeking maintenance for respondents 2 to 4 who are the wife and children of the petitioner herein.

On 02.01.2020, this Court directed the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, to verify as to whether the revision petitioner is alive, and file a report as it is the assertion before this Court that the petitioner is no more. The report as called for has been filed before this Court by the learned Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge vide letter dated 07.01.2020, and along with the report, he also filed the letter No.04/RJNR/Cyb/2020 of Inspector of Police, Rajendranagar P.S., Cyberabad, enclosing attested copy of FIR No.627/2012 dated 24.07.2012 of Rajendranagar P.S., confirming the factum of death of the petitioner by committing suicide. In those circumstances, nothing survives in the criminal revision case. Accordingly, the criminal revision case is closed.
