HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO ORDER:

Petitioner was placed under suspension by order dated 13.06.2015 as a consequence to the arrest by the CBI-ACB on 12.06.2015 and detention in judicial custody. Petitioner claimed to have submitted appeal to the appellate authority on 06.12.2016 against continuation of the petitioner under suspension.

According to the learned counsel for petitioner, said appeal is yet to be disposed of and for no justifiable cause or reason, petitioner is continued under suspension for more than 18 months and there is no progress in the enquiry.

As contended by the learned counsel for petitioner that since appeal is pending, without expressing any opinion on merits, writ petition is disposed of, directing the appellate authority to pass appropriate orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner on 06.12.2016 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
