THE HON'BLE DR. JUSTICE D.NAGARJUN CRIMINAL PETITION No. 6815 of 2016 ORDER:

Learned counsel for the petitioner has fairly submitted that subsequent to filing of this Criminal Petition, as there was no stay granted by this Court, the trial Court has completed trial of the case, wherein the petitioner-accused stated to have been found guilty and conviction was recorded. Aggrieved by the conviction, the petitioner stated to have preferred an appeal before the Sessions Court and subsequently compromise was recorded in the Criminal Revision before this Court. Learned counsel for the petitioner prayed the Court to dismiss the petition as infructuous, since the very purpose of filing this Criminal Petition is defeated. 2.

In view of the above submissions, since the very purpose of filing this Criminal Petition is defeated, this Criminal Petition requires to be dismissed as infructuous.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

As a sequel, pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
