O R D E R

Aggrieved by the inaction of the 5th respondent - Tahsildar in considering the application of the petitioner dated 5.11.2015 filed under Form VI-A of the A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 and the Rules made there under for mutation of his name in the revenue records in respect of the subject land, the present writ petition has been filed.

The learned Special Government Pleader representing the learned Advocate General submitted that since the State is also claiming the subject land, before considering the application of the petitioner for mutation, 5th respondent may be directed to intimate the State represented by its Chief Secretary to put forth its claim. Having regard to the facts and circumstances and the submissions of the learned counsel, without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission, directing the 5th respondent to dispose of the application of the petitioner said to have been made on 5.11.2015 for mutation of his name in the revenue records, after intimating the State, represented by its Chief Secretary and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

No order as to costs.
