THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION No.37506 of 2015 ORDER :

Petitioner in this Writ Petition has questioned the inaction of the 2nd respondent in returning an amount of Rs.2,91,430/- with interest paid by the petitioner through challan dt.28.05.2013 towards value of confiscated stock of paddy as directed in the judgment dt.24.04.2014 in Crl. Appeal No.52 of 2013 of the Principal Sessions Judge, Warangal.

2. The Government Pleader for Civil Supplies appearing for respondents on instructions states that the 2nd respondent would refund the said amount along with applicable interest on or before 06.12.2015.

3. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to refund Rs.2,91,430/- to the petitioner along with applicable interest on or before 06.12.2015, positively. There shall be no order as to costs.

4. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
