In spite of the matter being listed under the caption "for dismissal", none appears and no representation is made on behalf of the petitioner.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent-University submits that the petitioner had expired and his legal representatives were not brought on record.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as abated. No costs.
