O R D E R

The petitioner in this writ petition is seeking damages for alleged malicious prosecution by the respondents.

The petitioner has an alternative and efficacious remedy of approaching the civil court claiming damages in respect of cause of action in the writ petition, but certainly he cannot maintain a writ petition for the said relief. The writ petition is misconceived and the same is accordingly dismissed, giving liberty to the petitioner to avail common law remedies. No order as to costs.
