.I and Crl.P.No.6180 of 2019 COMMON ORDER The criminal petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.554 of 2015 on the file of the XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, registered for the offence under Section 498-A IPC, against the petitioners/A1 to A6.

I.A.Nos.2 and 3 of 2019 are filed under Sections 320(6) and 320(2) of Cr.P.C., by both parties seeking leave of this Court to compound the offences and to record compromise as the matter was settled out of the Court due to intervention of the elders. Along with the affidavits, they filed a joint memo of compromise stating that the 2nd respondent/de-facto complainant has received an amount of Rs.3,00,000/- out of Rs.5,00,000/-, to withdraw two cases i.e., O.P.No.32 of 2018 and M.C.No.262 of 2018 on the file of the Additional Family Court, City Civil Court, Hyderabad, and that she also received the remaining amount of Rs.2,00,000/- at the time of withdrawal of C.C.No.554 of 2015 and thus, she received the entire amount as per the matrimonial settlement deed dated 13.07.2019 and she agreed to withdraw the present case against the petitioners/A1 to A6.

Today, when the matter came up for hearing, petitioner Nos.2 to 6/A2 to A6 and the 2nd respondent/de-facto complainant are
present and they are identified by their respective counsel. The 1st petitioner/A1 is represented by his GPA holder 2nd petitioner/A2. They filed xerox copies of their aadhar cards before the Court. When this Court enquired the parties, petitioners 2 to 6/A2 to A6 and the 2nd respondent/de-facto complainant stated that they entered into compromise due to intervention of elders.
4. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, I find that it is a fit case to grant leave to the parties to compound the offence and to quash the proceedings against the petitioners/A1 to A6.
5. In the result, I.A.Nos.2 and 3 of 2019 are ordered. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed and the proceedings in C.C.No.554 of 2015 on the file of XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, are hereby quashed against the petitioners/A1 to A6.
6. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in the criminal petition, shall stand closed.
