Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. With their consent, the present writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

The present writ petition came to be filed with the following prayer:

"to issue a writ, order or a direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in not disposing the application dated 01.09.2016 to change the land in Sy.No.284 situated at Sarangapur Village, Nizamabad District from agriculture to non-agriculture purpose in the revenue records as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to law and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to consider the application dated 01.09.2016 to change the land in Sys.No.284 situated at Sarangapur Village, Nizamabad District, from agriculture to non-agriculture purpose in the revenue records."

Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to dispose of the application dated 01.09.2016 made by the petitioners seeking change of the nature of land from agriculture to non-agriculture.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue submits that he has no objection for the same provided the said application is still pending consideration.

Having regard to the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to consider the application dated 01.09.2016 made by the petitioners seeking change of nature of the land in Sy.No.284 situated at Sarangapur Village, Nizamabad District from agriculture to non-agriculture purpose in the revenue records, in accordance with law, at the earliest, after hearing the petitioners and the aggrieved persons, if any. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. _______________________ JUSTI CE C.
