Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents. With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

The present writ petition is filed seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 12-03-2011 made for issuance of pattadar passbook and title deed in favour of the petitioner's brother by name Bachu Anil Kumar in respect of the land admeasuring Ac.10-83 cents in Sy.No.267 of Gollapalli Village, Tarlupadu Mandal, Prakasam District at the earliest.

The averments in the writ petition are as under: The petitioner was looking after and cultivating the land admeasuring Ac.1083 cents in Sy.No.267 of Gollapalli Village, Tarlupadu Mandal, Prakasam District belonging to his brother by name Bachu Anil Kumar, who was working as a Software Engineer at Tokyo. He purchased the said lands under registered sale deeds dated 10-12-2008 from one Mandla Venkata Lakshmi, W/o.Bala Ankaiah of Cumbum Mandal, Prakasam District. It is stated that the petitioner made a representation on 12-03-2011 to the 1st respondent for issuance of a pattadar passbook and title deed in the name of his brother. He also made a request letter to the 2nd respondent by paying requisite fee to furnish the particulars of land in survey No.267 of Gollapalli Village, Prakasam District. It is stated that till date, the respondents did not act upon the said representations. Hence, the writ petition came to be filed.

Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the request made, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.1 (Tahsildar) to dispose of the representation dated 12-03-2011, if made and still pending, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the order in accordance with law. As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
