THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.1090 of 2017 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the 2nd respondent in not granting passport to the petitioner, as arbitrary and illegal and consequently, direct the 2nd respondent to grant passport to the petitioner forthwith in passport application No.HY1069851791516 pending before Passport Seva Kendra, Regional Passport Office, Begumpet, Hyderabad. 2.

In the affidavit filed in support of the petition, it is stated that the petitioner has to travel to America, for the purpose of performing his daughter's marriage, for a limited period of three months and he also ready to give an undertaking before this Court that he will return to India by 31st March, 2017 and surrender the passport and requested the Court to direct the 2nd respondent to issue passport to him.

This Court on 06.01.2017 directed the 2nd respondent to issue passport to the petitioner for a period of six (06) months commencing from 20th January, 2017. In pursuance of direction of this Court, the 2nd respondent issued passport to the petitioner. 4.

In view of the above, no further orders are required this writ petition and accordingly, the writ petition is closed.
