Heard Sri Srinivas Ambati, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj, and Sri MSR Chandramurthy, learned special counsel for respondents 3 & 4.

2. The petitioner was appointed as a Field Assistant of Pydi Bhimavaram Village, Ranasthalam Mandal, Srikakulam District on 19.02.2010. Levelling certain charges, explanation of the petitioner was called for and an enquiry was conducted and in pursuance thereof, the services of the petitioner were terminated. Feeling aggrieved, he filed appeal before the 3rd respondent-District Collector on 08.06.2015, which is pending.

3. Since the appeal is pending before the 3rd respondent, I am not inclined go in to the merits of the case. Therefore, the 3rd respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner duly considering his explanation submitted in response to the charges levelled against him and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this writ petition, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
